This is still difficult for me to fully explain in words but as a guy who used to have a seemingly undying love for apologetics, religious and philosophical debate and other such arguments, I think it’s now time for me to put that on the back burner. What I mean is: a defense of the Christian faith (apologetics) means nothing in the end (Wow, the me of two years ago would probably kill the me of today). God doesn’t need to be defended. God doesn’t need your feeble human mind trying to rationalize morality or miracles or creationism. If God looked down from heaven and saw us, would he see us trying to love our neighbors, pray for our enemies and serve the outcast, the poorest of the poor, the widow and the orphan? Or would He see us gathered around a table in Skibo Cafe discussing whether or not we accept Calvinism or Arminianism?
